JOHANNA GLAZER

Johanna Glazer has over two decades of teaching experience.  She has taught a variety of students from court-involved youth in a Department of Youth Services facility, students in a school-to-work program, and mainstream students in European History and World History courses.  Johanna is currently teaching as part of the Rivers and Revolutions program at Concord-Carlisle High School.   Since 1993, Johanna has also instructed students in traditional martial arts and self-defense. She currently holds the rank of fourth degree black belt in both Seirenkai Karate and Seirenkai Jujitsu.   Johanna earned her B.A. in History and her teaching certification from Brandeis University, her M.S.Ed  from Simmons College with a specialization in Special Education, and her Principal/Supervisor License through the Commonwealth Leadership Academy.


WILL KEMEZA

Will Kemeza has worked as an educator in a variety of settings: as a backcountry ranger in the mountains of northern New England; as a program manager at an environmental non-profit organization; as an English teacher in Boston, and now in Concord-Carlisle High School’s Rivers and Revolutions program. Will holds a BA in English from Boston College, and a Master of Divinity degree from Harvard Divinity School. 


JOSEPH PICKMAN

Joseph Pickman is an artist who has been teaching painting, drawing and architecture in the greater Boston area for over twenty years and currently serves as instructor and department chair for the Fine and Applied Art department at Concord-Carlisle High school. Joseph’s paintings and drawings can be seen at josephpickman.com. Joseph holds a B.A. in Studio Art/Art History from the University of Vermont and a M.A.T in Art Education from Tufts University and the School for the Museum of Fine Arts.
